bankruptcy - william parks

With a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy there is an immediate stop to paying back your
unsecured creditors, stop to harassment, collections, lawsuits, wage garnishments
and liens. All or most of your debt can be discharged (completely eliminated) in
about 90 days without any payments to your creditors. Debts such as credit cards,
personal loans, medical bills, foreclosures, repossessions, judgments in lawsuits
and some tax debts can be discharged. A Chapter 7 Bankruptcy can be quickly
prepared (in a day if necessary) then filed. After filing, it usually takes about 90
days to complete the Bankruptcy and get your discharge. Then you are back on
your feet with a Fresh Start ready to get back to life as you know and enjoy.

While Chapter 7 is very helpful, it is not for everyone.

If you have equity in your home, savings or personal possession of value, do not
consider a Chapter 7 unless you are certain all of you assets can be protected by
the exemptions available to you. This is a very important reason why you should
contact an Attorney when considering Bankruptcy.

Whether or not Bankruptcy will help depends on the debts you have and the type
of relief you want. While Chapter 7 is available to many people, it is not available
to everyone. At the Law Office of William Parks, if you just want to eliminate your
debts, we will work very hard to get you in a Chapter 7. Just because your income
is above the mean income level, does not mean I can not get you in a successful
Chapter 7. Individuals and families above the mean income can qualify for a Chapter 7
by applying the IRS standardized deductions or applying certain expenses such as car
or mortgage payments, medical expenses, support for children, or spouse and/or
elderly care.
